Henllys Estate Woodlands in Spring Woodland

There are 11 acres of mature broadleafed woodlands with pathways and picnic areas. An additional 15 acres have recently been planted.

Carpets of bluebells can be seen in the spring as can many other wild flowers in season.

Henllys Estate Trout Lake Lake

There is fishing for wild brown trout and stocked rainbow trout and the lake attracts herons, wild ducks and geese, moorhens and little grebe.

There are copious amounts of frog spawn and tadpoles in spring and the abundant insect life includes dragon and damsel flies.

A proud fisherman! River Towy and Wildlife

The River Towy provides fishing for salmon and sea trout or just a quiet place to sit.

Wildlife to be seen at Henllys includes Red Kites, Buzzards, foxes and badgers.
